The Karacaköy Wells System was constructed entirely by Hacıoglu Yapı to meet the drinking water needs of Istanbul and stands out as an important infrastructure project. This system was constructed to provide water transmission between Lake Terkos and Ikitelli Drinking Water Treatment Plant and Buyukcekmece Basin.

In the project, 12 kilometres long and Ø400 mm and Ø1000 mm diameter transmission line has been completely completed. Within the scope of the works, the construction of suction cups, discharge art structures and valve chambers have been completed and this system will play a critical role in meeting the increasing water demand of the European Side.
